Does anyone recommend any specific type of mask?
I currently use 2 different types.

1) Resmed ultra mirage nasal mask
2) Breeze nasal pillows

They have both worn out in a year! I need to look at buying a new one.
I have seen a new one called "INNOMED NASAL AIRE" has anyone tried this type of CPAP delivery? It is inserted into the nasal cavity and looks like an oxygen device used in hospitals.

It is so annoying that manufacturers wont allow you to try before you buy!!! Resulting in expensive purchases up to $300 for a dud mask! Can anyone help???

Hi Mark, I have just bought the Mirage Vista, I have found it terrific, it gives me clear sight when in bed reading/watching TV, I've found it more comfortable that my standard Mirage, the head gear is also easier to put on, it has two clips either side and never needs to be re adjusted, the hose clips on and off the mask and the silicon pillow is softer and more forgiving as far as movement through the night, it seems to float on the face more than my standard therefore mask leaks are less.

I bought the Resmed Vista, as well. The darn thing pulled out all my hair on top. It crosses over top the head and pulls out all your hair.I sent mine back to the DME with my hair attached! I'll bet they had a good laugh, at my expence. Shame on Resmed.

Yeah, I guess a mask is a personal thing .... as I say in the car business, "theres a seat for every arse and an arse for every seat", I think the vista is the best for me but Resmed will let you try out different masks at Head office at Ryde

I find the people at resmed terrific and very helpfull.

Yes I have used one for the last five years , I find it very good ,very comfortable and gives you unrestricted movement . Down side tubes go hard after about 12 months and need replacing. Australia hasn't taken to this product and I really cant understand why. Currently I purchase from the USA which supplies cheaper than Australia and that includes the postage I saved a third of the price last time. Worth a search on the net and do a bit of research to find the best price.

Last time I ordered from the US - delivery in 5 days from east coast states. Better service than you can get here.

Hello

Just diagnosed and looking at masks and interested in the Innomed Nasal-Aire II. Could anyone point me to US sites which sell this and ship to Australia. The prices there seem so much cheaper. The couple if suppliers there I found did not ship internationally.

I looked at this mask but some of the reviews state that the tubing is hard, making side-sleeping difficult.

Otherwise, I would have gone for this one myself.

Did the masks you currently have work? If so why not just get a new one of the same mask
