Message Body

All treatments of the soft palate or roof of the mouth have the potential to modify the voice in the short term. Permanent voice change is rare. However for Professional Voice users clearly this risk must be considered and advised.

Dryness of the roof of the mouth can be another short term issue, generally of a short term nature also.

In a large volume of patients,I am unable to recall a single voice change of a permanent nature.
