I'm cynical about the prospect of it being RBD. if its likely to be anything, it would probably be considered a form of parasomnia - but i think it would be of the utmost importance to get a referral for a polysomnograph (overnight sleep study in a hospital/clinic). If something is diagnosed with/without sleep apnea then there are a lot of options as to what medication is used to treat it, but you would likely be prescribed a low dosage antidepressant such as Endep or Prothiaden which taken before bedtime will stop the brain arousing. in any case, dont be reserved in going to your GP. |
