Thanks Zann. We will consider all opinions. Additionally, we have to look at the technical issues - would we establish  an 'auction' system or more of a 'classifieds' advertisement. This is besides obvious legal issues - are we allowed (as an Australian site) to advertise for sale what are ostensibly prescription medical devices. I imagine we would have to charge a nominal free (few dollars) for advertisers to compensate for the increase in administration which would no doubt follow implementation of this system. If we only charge a few dollars though, how would we do it? Paypal? Credit cards (which cost us as well) etc. It's harder than it looks... As it is, the discussion forum creates quite a bit of work as the spammers attack frequently. Unfortunately this is the price we pay for having a dead-easy discussion forum that doesn't require mandatory registration etc. The advantage however is the large number of useful messages we get, and the community it has established.
